HEAD OF THE CIVIL SERVICE OF THE FEDERATION
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all as fresh and returning students to the Federal Training Centre (FTC), Enugu.
In our effort to create a congenial environment for academic pursuits. we have articulated a concise “student” Information Handbook” which contain basic information, as well as regulations that will provide you with the necessary safeguard throughout your stay in FTC Enugu. As students you should not see the regulations contained in this Handbook as an attempt to restrict your freedom. Rather, you should see the Handbook as an instrument that would assist your efforts toward achieving your personal objectives at the Centre.
On our part, the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation will continue to make a case for improved budgetary provision for the neccessary infrastructural facilities that will put the centre in the forefront of the institutional excellence.
I wish you you all a very successful and happy stay in the centre.

PROVOST'S WELCOMING SPEECH
Dear students,
On behalf of the entire Staff and Students Community, I
welcome all our new and returning students to our esteemed
institution. We are excited to have you on board and are committed
to providing you with a world-class education.
It may interest you to know that our institution has continued
to focus on her pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and
service to both public and private sectors.
As you begin this new chapter in your academic journey, I
encourage you to be curious, innovative and passionate about
learning.For this to happen, you need to be regular in attendance at
lectures, carry out all your assignments , shunning all forms of deviant
behaviours, avoid Examination Malpractice and other vices that can
expose you and others to danger. Our institution has zero tolerance
for cultism, any form of hooliganism , quarrelling and fighting.
I need to further advise you to show respect to one another as
well as staff in the institution. I also advise you to be modest and Our staff are committed to supporting your academic success
and personal growth.
